Since 2021 he has been pursuing a PhD project in philosophy which is supervised by Prof. Mark Schweda in the division of Ethics in Medicine, where he is also an associated researcher.
His research deals mainly with ageing and old age in the context of psychiatry and psychotherapy, as well as approaches to an experimental philosophy of psychiatry. Moreover, he is interested in questions concerning the potential of philosophical ideas in medicine and psychiatry, existentialism, and existential psychotherapy.
