The Student Council
What is the Student Council?
The student council of physics is the student representative of all physics students. Once a year, the student council is elected by the general assembly of the physics students – every physics student is allowed to vote aswell as to be elected. In this term, there are 29 members from different physics disciplines at the student council.
What is the Student Council doing?
As the elected student council, we represent your interests towards the whole university. Therefore, we are in different commitees and try to make your studies easier. If you have any concerns, let us know so we can address it. In our weekly meeting, we discuss current topics – this is a public meeting, so feel free to come anlong if you are interested.
In addition to the representative work, we organize various events. As a highlight at the start of the semester, we prepare the orientation week to give all new freshies a nice start to their studies. During the semesters, we offer many other events – from a LaTeX course to the games evenings. Please find out more about our events here.
