Research focus
In the Pain Therapy working group, we are dedicated to health services research in the field of pain and pharmacoepidemiology.
Our goals are:
To systematically record the frequency and severity of pain, particularly in connection with mental illness and different age groups.
To critically evaluate and reassess existing risk profiles of pain medication through comprehensive database analyses.
At an international level, we cooperate with the University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG) as part of the Interreg programme.
