ESAIC Exchange Programme

Dr Katrin Bartelmei, a doctor in further education at the Department of Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Pain Therapy, has been selected for the prestigious ESAIC Exchange Programme of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC). As part of this European funding programme, she will spend three months at Cork University Hospital in Ireland in 2026 to deepen her knowledge of modern procedures in anaesthesiology and intensive care medicine. The selection for the ESAIC Exchange Programme is a special recognition of the professional competence and commitment of young doctors in a European context. Our clinic is delighted that Dr Bartelmei has been given this opportunity, thus further strengthening international scientific exchange.
