Service points and telephone switchboard
Service points and telephone switchboard
Dear students, employees and guests,
We are the central point of contact for many questions relating to the university. If you are looking for your event room, want to find the Admissions office or want to know where to go to the bicycle repair shop, we will be happy to explain the way.
Do you have an unusual request and are unsure which office is responsible for it? Feel free to drop by - we'll find out together. You can also contact us with any other questions. If we are unable to help you directly, we will be happy to put you in contact with the relevant university departments.
The service points are also manned by a security service outside of regular opening hours. The service is then limited, but you will still find support and helpfulness on site.
And even if something doesn't work as it should, we are there for you. If you need help, notice any damage or have any other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Telephone exchange
Would you like to contact someone at the university by telephone but don't know the right number? The switchboard accepts incoming calls, provides general information and connects you within the university.
If your query can be clarified directly, the switchboard team will be happy to help. If another office is responsible, they will put you in contact with the appropriate contact person or institution.
The tasks of the switchboard include in particular
- Transferring incoming calls
- Providing general information
- Forwarding calls to the relevant departments
The switchboard is located in the foyer of lecture theatre centre A14 on the Haarentor campus.
Further information on telephone number searches, operating instructions and forms for in-house telephone numbers can be found on the Telecommunications service page.
Keys and access cards
Are you giving a course or need to use rooms outside regular opening hours? With a valid CampusCard or a corresponding room booking, you can borrow an access card from us.
We can also provide you with keys for special rooms, for example the furniture store or the parent-child room.
If you need a key for a longer period of time, for example for an office or work area, please contact the relevant building services.
Media keys can be obtained from the library's Central Information Desk, directly behind the main entrance to the library.
Lost property
Have you left your CampusCard in the coffee machine or lost your key? The central lost property office of the University of Oldenburg is located in the Servicepoint Haarentor. We take good care of lost property and, where possible, inform the owners.
Have you found or lost something? Then please visit us in the cafeteria foyer on the Haarentor campus. Lost property can also be handed in at the Servicepoint Wechloy.
