The DiOLL project ("Digitalisation in Oldenburg Teacher Training") aims to improve the digital education of prospective and school teachers. The aim is to strengthen the digitalisation-related skills of student teachers and teachers as well as the context-related use of digital media and technologies in the classroom across the board. The project began on 1 March 2020 and will run until 31 December 2023. Eight work packages were defined for the implementation of the project, which will be worked on by two work centres and three faculty focal points:

• "Digitalisation in Teacher Education" (DiLL)working unit
  for the further development of teaching degree programmes
• Digital Teacher Training Centre (DiFo)
  for the further development of further training courses for school teachers

Both centres implement the planned Computing Science, media education and educational science development programme of DiOLL at the theory-practice rooms and cooperate with three faculty focal points in which subject-specific didactic scenarios for digital teaching are developed and tested in three subject domains and for different school levels (language, science, subject teaching).
