Student Conference on Text Procedures: Different Perspectives on the Subject, Incorporating Text Types from Primary and Secondary Education – Winter Semester 2023/24

On Wednesday 28 February 2024, from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm, the student conference Text Procedures: Different Perspectives on the Subject Matter, Taking into Account Text Types at Primary and Secondary Level .

The conference will focus in particular on presenting the results of research projects from the ‘Research-Based Learning with Text Procedures’ seminar held during the winter semester of 2023/2024.

Prof. Dr Thorsten Pohl (Institute for German Language and Literature, University of Cologne) has been invited to speak at the conference; his keynote address, ‘Text Procedures: Analytically/operationally non-existent – evident in writing didactics’ will offer a critical perspective on the subject of text procedures. The focus of the conference will be on the poster presentations by the students , which will be rounded off by the awarding of a poster prize. Furthermore, the student conference will facilitate an exchange of experiences between different participants (students, lecturers) through the round-table format.
