Collaborative Research Centres
A Collaborative Research Centre is a long-term research institution at a university, lasting up to 12 years, in which scientists work together within the framework of interdisciplinary research programmes. In addition to the location-based CRCs, which are open to all subjects, Transregios are offered, in which different locations join together to focus on a specific topic. At School II, one Collaborative Research Centre is funded by the German Research Foundation.
