Newsletter for doctoral candidates June 2026

Welcome to the June edition of the Graduate Academy's newsletter for doctoral researchers!

This month we take a look at our workshops between June and August and thereby already peek into the summer break (you can tell from the number of workshops… ;-) ). However, a few workshops of the Graduate Academy have already been added to StudIP for the winter term 2026/27 and are worth a look. Furthermore, the newsletter contains (as always) offers of our partners, information worth knowing and the highlight of the month: UOL's Science Slam. Have a look!

Best regards from the Team of the Graduate Academy

Our workshops until August 2026

Important information about registration and allocation of places for our workshops!

  • We have new terms and conditions! To ensure interdisciplinarity, no more than half of the available places for each workshop will be allocated to members of the same faculty. By registering, you agree to the Graduate Academy’s terms and conditions.
  • Please also note that registration for the workshops takes place via StudIP and is binding. You cannot cancel your registration yourself. If you do not have StudIP access, please contact graduiertenakademie@uol.de via email.
  • Registration is always provisional at first. The Graduate Academy will verify whether you are eligible to participate and whether spots are available. Afterward, access will be granted in the order of the registration date! (You will then receive an automatic email).
  • If you are unable to attend the event, please cancel your registration by emailing us. This will allow people on the waiting list to move up.
