Social networking

Here you will find all the offers that promote your social networking!

AStA-Land

The AStA offers all students their own large garden to participate in.

The AStA-Land is an open urban gardening project and free of charge for all students at the University of Oldenburg. Here you have the opportunity to garden together with others every Friday from 10:00 to 12:00 or to take on a bed sponsorship in your own group (alone is of course also possible). Please contact the AStA for this project at:

Campus garden to join in

You don't have your own garden but would like to have one? Would you like to work with others to maintain and plan a garden, grow vegetables and later harvest them? Then join the campus garden! The campus garden is a project of the AStA with the aim of offering all students the opportunity to work in the garden. You can work practically in the garden or take part in a course that teaches you how to design and maintain a garden.
If you would like to take part in the campus garden, please get in touch at this address:

The Interkulturelle Treff offers a variety of opportunities to meet new people, have fun and gain new experiences. Outdoor seating furniture

In co-operation with the Technical Education Working Group (ATB), we have built three pieces of outdoor seating furniture and set them up on the canteen forecourt on the Haarentor campus. The seating furniture is available to all students and is intended to help improve the quality of the space and provide a place to relax, socialise and work and learn together.

Chat table in the canteen

The chatting table is located in the canteen behind the third and fourth counters. You can't miss it thanks to the many cool stickers. It's the place to be in the canteen for all those who don't want to be alone when eating in the canteen or want to make new friends outside their circle of acquaintances. So grab a few friends or sit at the chat table on your own. The only requirement is that you want to meet new people! :-) The stickers will keep you entertained. On them you will find icebreakers for conversation starters and you can play cheese boxes or sink ships with your new friends. Have fun trying them out!
