University Clinic for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine

The University Clinic for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine (formerly the Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine - Elisabeth Children's Hospital) at Klinikum Oldenburg treats infants, children and adolescents as inpatients and outpatients. In 2017, a total of 6.140 young patients were treated there.
In addition to general pediatrics, the main areas of treatment include pediatric cardiology, oncology, neuropaediatrics, child and adolescent psychiatry, pneumology and allergology as well as neonatology (newborn care) and intensive care.
The university clinic is made up of four specialist clinics, which offer a wide range of diagnostic, nursing and therapeutic options thanks to their specialized focus. The doctors also work closely with other specialist departments at the hospital. The neonatology department of the University clinic is the only level 1 perinatal center in the northwest and thus meets the highest standards in obstetrics and newborn care.
