Download the free VPN client Global Protect from the Google Play Store to your end device:

Tap Install.

Once the installation is complete, tap Open:

Enter v-uol.uol.de as the portal address and click Connect.

The portal address is saved in the VPN client and does not need to be entered again.

Enter the data of your user account and click on Log in:

The login data is saved in the VPN client and does not need to be entered again.

In the following dialogue, allow the Global Protect VPN Client to establish a VPN connection.

An established VPN connection is indicated by a key symbol in the upper display line.

Tap OK.

The permission to establish the VPN connection is saved in the VPN client and does not need to be confirmed again.

The successful login is acknowledged:

You are now securely connected to the campus network of the University of Oldenburg.

To establish or terminate a VPN connection, tap the Global Protect icon.
