Access and rights management
To enable access to the SAP system, a user must be set up in the SAP system and provided with authorisation; please apply for access via the faculty management or your supervisor, stating the tasks that you are to perform with SAP and the finance and cost centre groups that you are to view. If your proposal is approved, you will receive an SAP user ID, usually your surname and an initial password.
The administrator of your PC must then install the software for SAP access on your PC. This is the software for establishing a secure connection to the SAP servers (VPN tunnel) and the SAP GUI software.
Immediately ask the administrator to make the settings in Microsoft Excel that are necessary to be able to use the SAP-Excel integration.
