On 20 June 2025, the local radio station oeins oldenburg reported on the city tour on National Socialism in Oldenburg. Kevin Mennenga from Arbeit und Leben was interviewed for the report. The tour covers almost four kilometres over ten stops from Pferdemarkt through the city centre to the old Oldenburg State Parliament and ends at the memorial wall for the Jewish victims of the Holocaust. Aspects such as possible reasons for the early successes of the NSDAP in Oldenburg, the war experiences of the city's inhabitants and the increasing anti-Semitism that ultimately led to the Holocaust are addressed at the memorial sites.
The film can be viewed on YouTube (from around 8.20).
The city tour will once again take place as part of the event series "Right-wing networks: manifestations, explanatory approaches and counter-strategies" on 16 October 2025. Participation is free of charge. A maximum of 20 people can take part. Please register by 12 October 2025 using the online registration form on the homepage of the Office for University and Trade Union Co-operation.
