The Oldenburg and Osnabrück cooperation centres are publishing a book on the mobility transition, in which the necessary radical changes to the transport system are discussed from the perspectives of science, the climate and environmental protection movement and the trade unions. Sustainable mobility calls for concepts for a transport transition that is both environmentally and socially just, and for alliances with social clout. The contributions in the book make it clear that sustainable prospects for employment and "good work" are only possible in harmony with sustainable mobility - and vice versa.
The book will be published by Oekom-Verlag at the beginning of May - also in Open Access
