In collaboration with the Chair of Organisation and Human Resources at the University of Oldenburg (Prof. Dr Thomas Breisig), the Cooperation Centre submitted a project proposal to the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony, which was approved. As part of the "Discourse on the Future", the opportunities, risks, challenges and implementation possibilities of various working time models that are associated with shorter, more flexible or longer working hours will be discussed. Not least against the backdrop of the current demand for skilled labour, but also the different needs and desires of lifestyles, there is both a pronounced scientific interest in the topic of working hours and a great need in companies and institutions to test or introduce different working time models. The project is scheduled to start on 1 April 2024 and run for 15 months.
