Former Student Survey

The University of Oldenburg (UOL) aims with this survey to gain insights into former students' retrospective assessment of study conditions immediately after completing their studies, and to obtain an overview of their current situation and desired (professional) career paths. In addition, the survey aims to identify systematic causes that lead to students dropping out or changing universities. The survey is permanently available, so that every former student can participate at the time of their individual de-registration.

Target group:

  • Graduates (Bachelor's, Master's, State Examination) of the UOL who left the UOL after graduation
  • Former students (Bachelor's, Master's, State Examination) who were de-registered at UOL before completing their studies

The survey covers the following topics:

  • General questions about study programme and academic progress, standard period of study
  • Experiences during studies as well as retrospective study evaluation and study satisfaction
  • Reasons for dropping out or changing university location
  • Questions about future plans

The results will help to optimise the quality of teaching and studies as well as support structures and create the best possible conditions for the transition and entry into the professional world.
