Good Scientific Practice
At Carl von Ossietzky University, the guidelines for good scientific practice apply to both research and teaching.
Teaching
Educational Philosophy: The Chair of Organization & Leadership stands for integrative, participatory, and diverse teaching that qualifies students with different learning styles and interests for various career paths.
- For us, integrative means combining scientific theories with practical questions, bringing together different disciplines (e.g., business administration, psychology, sociology), and combining various teaching methods - from lectures and case studies to e-learning.
- Participatory means actively involving students: through discussions, group work, project work, and an open feedback culture, they help shape the learning process.
- Diverse means that we take the diversity of our students seriously and encourage it. We focus on varied teaching formats and address different perspectives on organization and leadership - globally, interdisciplinarily, and with an eye to the future.
