Enter your instrument preferences and, if applicable, teacher preferences: Lists will be made available at the planning meeting of the Institute of Music during the orientation week. All available free places will then be allocated to first-semester students. It is not possible for first-semester students to make arrangements with individual teachers before the start of their studies or to register themselves on notice boards. Teacher requests will, of course, be taken into account as far as possible when allocating places.

All lesson allocations areposted in A9 0 one to two days after the planning meeting. The names of the students for all assignments (higher semesters + first semesters) are listed there under the names of the respective teachers. Then clarify the teaching date with the teacher yourself via 3 options:

1. Enter on timetable - if posted on the notice board in A9 0
2. Planning meeting with the teacher at the start of lessons in the first week of the event - if announced by the teacher
3. Contacting the teacher by telephone - if no other message has been sent. Email is not useful for clarifying free dates.
   

If the assigned lessons in the first semester do not yet optimally match your own wishes: Make arrangements with the desired teachers for the following semester as early as possible in the semester (free places, waiting lists). If less than 1.5 SWS of instrumental lessons were/can be taken in the 1st semester, make up the missing lessons in the following semester if possible.
