Once a year, you can get to know people who have made discovery their academic appointment in eight cosy Oldenburg pubs at the " Hirn vom Hahn - Wissen frisch gezapft" science evening. Instead of in the lecture theatres of the university or Jade University, scientists chat about their exciting day-to-day work and research between the bar and bar stools.

The different topics show: Science is anything but dry as dust and the world would be a different place without its findings. With a drink in your hand, you can learn something new, ask questions and join in the discussion. A pub evening with a difference!

There are two talks in each pub. In between, there will be enough time to switch to one of the other participating pubs for the second lecture.
