The Start-up and Innovation Centre (GIZ) is committed to a successful start-up culture on campus. The opening will take place on 17 April - hosted by Klaas Heufer-Umlauf.

The university opens the Start-up and Innovation Centre (GIZ) with a celebratory launch event. The GIZ is part of the EXIST IV programme of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and serves as a central point of contact for those interested in starting a business at regional universities. It offers professional counselling, coaching and training before and after the start-up. Lower Saxony's Minister for Science and Culture, Prof Dr Johanna Wanka, will be among those welcoming guests at the opening. Moderated by entertainer Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, experts from science and business will discuss how creativity and a successful start-up culture can be promoted on campus. Students, academics and staff are cordially invited to attend.
