As part of the Erasmus programme, Oldenburg Dutch Studies has bilateral co-operation agreements with the following universities in the Netherlands and Belgium:

2. non-university co-operation partners
- Cultural work
Since 2004, a Dutch-speaking guest author has been invited every summer semester. On this occasion and also for other guest lectures, we work together with non-university partners: with the Dutch Letterenfonds and the Flemish Fonds voor de Letterenthe Oldenburger Bibliotheksgesellschaft, the Oldenburger literatur büro and the Carl von Ossietzky bookshop in Oldenburg. - Exhibitions
in co-operation with the Oldenburg State Library, mostly in connection with courses in the field of regional studies/regional studies, which illuminate Dutch themes using exhibits from the old collection. To date, there have been exhibitions on the topics of book printing (1991), the Peace of Westphalia (1998), the avant-garde in the north/north-west (2000, in co-operation with Groningen University Library), the United East India Company (2002), the history of whaling (2007, in co-operation with Prof. Lourens Hacquebord, Archaeology, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen), salt and its cultural history (2010, in co-operation with the Zoutmuseum Delden).
