physiXS
Teaching-learning laboratory physiXS
Experimentation is one of the main ways of gaining an understanding of physical phenomena and their causes. Experimenting means asking skilful questions, formulating hypotheses and investigating them. The school laboratory physiXS offers pupils a stimulating physics-orientated learning environment that is tailored to their interests and learning requirements.
However, physiXS also offers a diverse learning environment for physics and science teaching students. Here, prospective teachers get to know pupils in their thinking, exploration and learning processes. They develop their diagnostic skills and also see seemingly familiar subject content in a new light, namely through the eyes of the pupils.
At the same time, physiXS is a research laboratory in which a wide range of physics didactic issues relating to teacher professionalisation are investigated.
