In order to meet future requirements for staff, retaining well-trained staff, there are the new regulations for employee participation in Administrative Training Courses I and II (updated in February 2025). These were jointly developed by the central administration unit of the university (Dezernat 1) and the Staff Council.

Employees who are interested in options for professional development can find the admission requirements of the state of Lower Saxony in accordance with the so-called 81 agreement on the following page of the Study Institute of Lower Saxony (SIN). However, note that the part-time administrative training courses I and II sponsored by the university take place at the municipal study institute in Oldenburg (NSI).
