Edgar Rose is manager of the Interdisciplinary Centre for law of the Information Society (ZRI) and scientific associate in the Department of Business Administration, Economics and Law at the University of Oldenburg. He studied law at the University of Bremen. He worked as lecturer and researcher in Labour Law, Intellectual Property Law, Data Protection and Business Law in Bremen, Hamburg and Oldenburg. His PhD he received on "The legal Autonomy of Collective Bargaining" at the University of Oldenburg. Current research focusses on privacy protection against video surveillance and ubiquitous camera usage.
