Handling enclosed radiators
Sealed radiators are used, for example, in internships (Institute of Physics) or in other areas for the calibration of devices. Due to their activity or emission of gaseous radon, some of these emitters must be tested annually for leaks. Enclosed radioactive preparations are only handled after prior instruction and in compliance with special safety measures.
