Students have long been using Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI). Every lecturer faces the task of defining clear rules for the use of AI tools in their own courses. How can lecturers deal with this in a transparent and structured way?
At this lunchtime session, Susanne Schorer will once again present the GAI Guidance Configurator (KIKO) from the UOL – a practical tool that enables lecturers to create customised guidelines on the use of GAI for their courses using pre-designed modules. The course-specific handouts are supplemented by a general guide on the use of Generative AI in degree programmes and for assessment, which will also be briefly presented. The configurator has been available since the winter semester 25/26.
The session will be recorded. The recording and the presentation slides will subsequently be made available on the ‘Mittagstreffen’ page.
