Detailed application deadlines for the winter semester 2024/2025 (summer semester 2025):
- Applications with a German university entrance qualification or degree: by 30 September 2024 (31 March 2025)
- Applications from the EU: by 30 September 2024 (31 March 2025)
- Applications from third countries (non-EU): by 15 June 2024 (15 December 2024)
Special admission requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computing Science or from prior studies in a closely related, engineering scientifical field
- A schedule for the acquirement of missing ECTS credits, if the bachelor degree has not been completed by the time of application.
English Language Proficiency
- Level B1 of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

With a first degree from Germany you need to apply online from December 15th, 2024 until March 31st, 2025 for the beginning of Sommersemester 2025.Your documents need to be at the University of Oldenburg until March 31st, 2025.
Transferring into a higher semester is only possible
- if you had studied already in a same degree programme or
- if you have gained already credits from another degree programme and the Examinations Office of the University of Oldenburg will confirm the recognition of study periods and examinations.
