The sparse population in rural areas poses a challenge for providers of mobility solutions (e.g., ridesharing). On the one hand, there is a need for user-friendly and sustainable solutions to these problems. On the other hand, potential providers of mobility solutions often fail to achieve the required critical mass. 

This is where the mobility marketplace comes in. Like an app store, the mobility marketplace is intended as an interdisciplinary integration solution to provide existing and new intelligent mobility solutions for rural areas and to interlink them in order to drive digital and social change.
