School Development Centre (AS)

This is us

The School Development Centre (AS) supports school development processes in the region of north-western Lower Saxony.

We offer schools

  • System-oriented counselling from practice for practice
  • Mediation of suitable counselling and support services
  • Needs-orientated support, e.g. through process moderation, strategic exploration, clarification of objectives, planning
  • School management conference as an annual event in co-operation with the University of Oldenburg
  • Development and support of networks, working groups, observation rings and other formats

We offer cooperating educational institutions

  • demand-orientated communication of their offers and services
  • re-registration of support needs from school practice for the development of their services

We offer the university

  • Advice on school and teaching-related issues
  • Supporting the transfer of research and development results into school practice
  • Arranging school contacts and co-operations
  • Involvement of scientists in topic-related work formats

Our way of working

  • On request, we will get in touch with school management, steering groups or specialist groups to clarify concerns and needs and advise on suitable support options
  • Our exchange and networking formats are open to all interested parties
  • In collaboration with our partners and networks, we can provide information on support requirements and suitable services
