Loneliness is increasingly becoming a key social challenge. The coronavirus pandemic, the intensive use of social media and advancing digitalisation processes have further intensified this development. It is no longer just older people who are affected, but increasingly also children, young people and working adults in middle age.
Against this backdrop, the question arises as to what loneliness means for us as a society - and how we can counter it effectively. What findings does psychotherapeutic research provide? And what options for action does each individual have?
These questions will be addressed in three short presentations and then explored in greater depth in a panel discussion. The event is aimed at interested members of the public of all age groups.
