EUREGHA has published a new position statement, “Strengthening Cross-Border Healthcare in European Border Regions: Towards a Competitive, Inclusive and Resilient Europe”, developed in view of the post-2027 EU Multiannual Financial Framework. The statement highlights key governance, economic, and social dimensions of cross-border healthcare, as well as the role of EU instruments in supporting its implementation. Developed by EUREGHA’s Working Group on Cross-Border Healthcare Cooperation including the CBI, it incorporates concrete cross-border experiences from members and initiatives illustrating the practical relevance of cross-border cooperation for improving access to healthcare.
