Digitalized Energy Systems

The focus is on supporting and enabling complex energy systems through intelligent information systems (IS). These IS are accepted by energy producers and consumers and comply with data protection guidelines. These IS also enable decentralized, intelligent energy management including rule-based or optimized storage and conversion of renewable energy sources, including through artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) processes. A secure, reliable and efficient energy supply is ensured at all times, and IT and information security challenges are also addressed in particular.
