The TOLL is fully booked!
Dear prospective TOLL attendee,
Unfortunately, TOLL is already fully booked this year after just three weeks.
However, we know from experience that people do occasionally cancel their bookings for the event. We have therefore decided to reopen registration on Thursday 10 September 2026, provided that places have become available again by then.
We therefore recommend that you check our registration page again on 10 September 2026.

Background on the TOLL issue
Understanding how to learn to learn and actively shaping this process is becoming a key skill for the future in a complex, dynamic and increasingly digital knowledge society.
By strategically promoting ‘learning to learn’, it is possible not only to enhance individual learning outcomes but also to improve self-efficacy and reduce educational inequalities.
But how can teachers effectively and sustainably promote learning? What methods are available, and how effective are they? What are the conditions for successfully implementing learning strategies? And how does the implementation of learning strategies change the way we teach?
TOLL 2026 therefore takes ‘Learning to learn’ as its central theme under the title‘Making learning a success: rethinking learning strategies! ’.
