With a total of 1,350 employees, we at Pius-Hospital look after the health of our patients from Oldenburg and the entire Weser-Ems region. Using state-of-the-art medical technology for diagnostics and therapy, we offer the best possible treatment at the cutting edge of science in twelve clinics, institutes and specialist departments. We offer a broad and deep range of services with a focus on oncology, gynaecology, pneumology, thoracic and vascular surgery, visceral surgery, ophthalmology and endoprosthetics. As the largest Catholic hospital in the north-west with 420 beds, we treat a total of 76,000 inpatients and outpatients every year. With our six university clinics, we are also involved in research and teaching as part of the University of Oldenburg's medical campus. Here, we develop and test medical innovations and ensure that new scientific findings can benefit patients as quickly as possible.
