Nadine Hesse M.A.
Nadine Hesse studied International Literatures and Scandinavian Studies (B.A.) at the Eberhard Karls University of Tuebingen and European Ethnology (M.A.) at the Humboldt University of Berlin. She has a wide range of empirical and ethnographic research experience and has already been involved in various projects. During her studies, she dealt with the importance of meeting places for senior citizens in old age and the material and social consequences of the financial and real estate crisis in Dublin, Ireland, from an everyday and actor-centered perspective.
After working from 2021 – 2023 as a scientific research assistant in the trinational research project "Lockdown of the Public Sphere? Value Contestation and Digital Mobilization during the COVID-19 Pandemic" at the Europa Universität Flensburg, she is currently pursuing this research interest in the Department of Ethics in Medicine. Since June 2024, she has been employed in the project "The Future of Intergenerational Solidarity beyond the Pandemic: Empirically-Informed Ethical Analysis and Public Deliberation".
Her further research interests include science and technology studies, material culture, social inequality and protest research.
