Our society is currently experiencing one of the most serious education crises since the founding of the Federal Republic of Germany. An enormous and growing shortage of teachers and educators is clashing with an outdated, underfunded and segregated education system that is socially unjust.
- Almost 50,000 young people leave school every year without a qualification
- There will be a shortage of around 160,000 teachers by 2035
- There is a nationwide shortage of hundreds of thousands of daycare places and over 300,000 nursery teachers to ensure adequate provision and an appropriate childcare ratio.

- a TRAINING OFFENSIVE for teachers and educators
- a 100 billion SPECIAL EDUCATION ASSET and permanent and sufficient financing amounting to 10% of GDP
- a genuine EDUCATION SUMMIT on an equal footing with those affected by education
One thing is clear: if you want to solve the education crisis, you have to take pressure off the overburdened system and involve the people who are in direct contact with daycare centres and schools on a daily basis.
