Offers for schools

In the textile teaching and learning laboratory , students work on practical textile and media topics. Learning groups can visit our Institute or students can come to schools. We are currently developing various programmes ranging from sewing machine driving licences and role-playing games to washing experiments.

The Institute also houses the "Collection of Everyday Textile Culture", which is used to research clothing of the 20th and 21st centuries. The collection is integrated into practical work with pupils and students. If you are interested in working with us, please contact us.

We offer workshops and teaching materials for teachers to borrow:

Slow Fashion material box

Borrow our teaching material on the textile cycle with seven learning stations free of charge. The material is suitable for grades 3 to 9.

Depending on availability, you can pick up the pack from us at the Institute and borrow it for four weeks. Further information on the contents can be found in the handout accompanying the pack. You can download it online from our cooperation partner "Eine Welt in der Schule".
