Prof Dr Babette Simon, President of the University, is a new member of the Supervisory Board of Düsseldorf University Hospital. The Ministry of Innovation, Science and Research of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia appointed Simon for a four-year term as an external expert from the field of medical science.
The Supervisory Board of Düsseldorf University Hospital has the task of advising the Executive Board and monitoring its management. It has a total of twelve members.
Simon has been President of the University of Oldenburg since 2010. Among other things, she is a member of the Medical Committee of the German Council of Science and Humanities and Senator of the Helmholtz Association for the Research Field Health.
