Car park management
The University of Oldenburg's climate protection concept includes the introduction of a car park management system as a climate protection measure. The implementation of this measure is currently being considered and a possible design is to be developed and examined in the coming months. Further information can be found here.

We took the numerous critical re-registrations regarding the Mobility Forum on 19 March 2026 as an opportunity to write and send a statement on the event to the Presidential Board and Climate Protection Management.
Position paper on parking space management
As the topic will affect many colleagues and we as the Staff Council want to adequately represent the interests of employees in the upcoming process, we invited both Oldenburg and Wilhelmshaven 2025 to an exchange of views. Thank you for your perspectives and suggestions on the topic, which we have summarised in a position paper and sent to the department.
