SuRE and EMRE students welcome to Oldenburg includes the Annual Wind Excursion.

For the first time, the PPRE staff team was beaten by a students’ team at the annual PPRE Challenge. 

Last July, two PPRE alumni, Prof. Gerd Heilscher (PPRE 1987-88) and Aakash Sharma (PPRE 2019-20), met up and talked about their PPRE experiences. 

Three of our PPRE alumni, Mr. Henry Wasajja (EMRE 2010/11), Dr. Al-Mas Sendegeya (PPRE 1999-2000), and Mr. Wisdom Ahiataku Togobo (PPRE 1997-98), met in Ghana.

ForWind Center for Wind Energy Research and Fraunhofer IWES are unveiling two new research infrastructure highlights in Hannover and Bremerhaven.

At the March 2023 meeting of the ForWind board, Prof. Dr. Kerstin Avila from the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg was accepted as a new member of ForWind. This came only days after she started her professorship at the Department of Physics at Oldenburg University.
