PPRE welcomes a new staff memeber, Thilo Girgott.

Some of our PPRE students had the opportunity to visit TenneT and report on their experience.

Last July, two PPRE alumni, Prof. Gerd Heilscher (PPRE 1987-88) and Aakash Sharma (PPRE 2019-20), met up and talked about their PPRE experiences. 

Three of our PPRE alumni, Mr. Henry Wasajja (EMRE 2010/11), Dr. Al-Mas Sendegeya (PPRE 1999-2000), and Mr. Wisdom Ahiataku Togobo (PPRE 1997-98), met in Ghana.

The New DLR-Institute of Systems Engineering for Future Mobility was officially opened on 31st of January 2023 by the head of DLR and new director of the institute, namely Prof. Axel Hahn. It is located close by the OFFIS-Institute in Escherweg, Oldenburg.

As part of the EU project HySeas III, DLR has analysed whether and under what conditions ferries are also possible with fuel cell propulsion.
