about
Quantified Beurling's Uncertainty Principle for Fourier Transforms
Abstract: The uncertainty principle in harmonic analysis states that a non-zero function and
its Fourier transform cannot be simultaneously too sharply localised. There are numerous
precise mathematical formulations of this meta-theorem.

The talk is based on collaborative work with Lenny Neyt (University of Vienna).
The talk will take place on Thursday, 18 June 2026
at 14:30 - 15:30 in room W01 1-117
Interested parties are cordially invited.
