Study commissions
Study commissions of School VI of Medicine and Health Sciences
Pursuant to Section 45 NHG (Lower Saxony Higher Education Act), the competent study commissions shall be heard before decisions are taken by the Faculty Council in all matters concerning teaching, the academic programme and examinations. The Faculty Council shall acknowledge their recommendations and document its opinion. It may assign individual decisions to a competent study commission.
School VI has two study commissions, charged with the following tasks:
The Study Commission of School VI is responsible for all matters concerning teaching, the academic programme and examinations of the model degree programme in Human Medicine and the Master’s degree programme in Neurocognitive Psychology.
The interfaculty Study Commission of Schools V and VI is responsible for all matters concerning teaching, the academic programme and examinations of the Biology degree programmes of the Institute for Biology and Environmental Sciences (with the exception of Landscape Ecology), the Master’s degree programme in Neuroscience and the doctoral programme in Neurosensory Science and Systems.
Faculty-wide matters are discussed by both study commissions.
