If you want to study at the University of Oldenburg, you have to enrol at the university. There are a few things to bear in mind!
Enrolment for the winter semester
1st and higher semester
The following online applications for Bachelor's degree programmes are possible.
Bachelor's degree programmes with admission restrictions from 15 May to 15 July
In the event of admission, you will receive a notification with a deadline for enrolment in the portal. You must adhere to this deadline, otherwise your study place will be passed on. You now enrol online and receive the proposal for enrolment to print out in the portal. Sign it and send it by post to the Admissions office by the deadline together with the documents required in the portal.
Admission-free Bachelor's degree programmes from 16 July to 15 October
You enrol online and receive the proposal for enrolment to print out in the portal. Sign it and send it by post to the Admissions office by the deadline together with the documents required in the portal.
The following documents are required for enrolment:
- Proposal for enrolment ( available to print once online enrolment has been completed)
- A certified copy of your university entrance qualification ( e.g. Abitur) or, if undergoing enrolment in person, the original and a simple copy
- Proof of your health insurance ( a specific health insurance certificate from your health insurance provider or proof of exemption from compulsory health insurance). Following notification to the health insurance provider via
, the certificate confirming your insurance status will be transmitted digitally (the so-called M10 notification). The ‘sender number’ for the University of Oldenburg is H0001293 and can be provided to the health insurance provider at .
Written confirmations sent by post or email cannot be processed.
- Proof of payment of the semester fee into the University of Oldenburg’s account and, where applicable, the long-term study fees
- Where applicable, a certificate of exmatriculation from the last higher education institution attended
