If you want to study at the University of Oldenburg, you have to enrol at the university. There are a few things to bear in mind!
Enrolment for the summer semester
Higher semester
The following online applications are possible.
Bachelor's degree programmes with admission restrictions from 15 December to 15 January
In the event of admission, you will receive a notification with a deadline for enrolment in the portal. You must adhere to this deadline, otherwise your study place will be passed on. You now enrol online and receive the proposal for enrolment to print out in the portal. Sign it and send it by post to the Admissions office by the deadline together with the documents required in the portal.
Admission-free Bachelor's degree programmes from 16 January to 15 April
You enrol online and receive the proposal for enrolment to print out in the portal. Sign it and send it by post to the Admissions office by the deadline together with the documents required in the portal.
The following documents are required for enrolment:
- Proposal for enrolment (available for printing after online enrolment)
- A certified copy of your higher education entrance qualification (e.g. Abitur) or, in the case of personal enrolment, the original and a simple copy
- Certificate of your health insurance (special health insurance certificate from the health insurance company or proof of exemption from compulsory health insurance). After the
notification to the health insurance company, the certificate of insurance status is transmitted digitally (the so-called M10 notification). The "sender number" of the University of Oldenburg is H0001293 and can be communicated to the health insurance company.
Written confirmations by post or email cannot be processed.
- Proof of payment of the semester contribution to the account of the University of Oldenburg and, if applicable, the long-term study fees
- Certificate of exmatriculation from the last university attended, if applicable
