On this page, we provide information on applying and enrolling if you hold a German university entrance qualification.

It is important to note that the aptitude tests take place in advance or in parallel to the actual application or enrolment for the degree programme. In order to be able to take part, you must register in good time.
The following deadlines apply for registration and publication of the tasks for the aptitude tests:

Applications for the 2026/2027 winter semester for subjects with restricted admission
You can apply online for all Bachelor’s degree programmes with restricted admission until 15 July. Please note the different application procedures outlined below.

Online applications via hochschulstart.de are for Bachelor’s degree programmes with restricted admission to the first semester.
University of Oldenburg Applications Portal
The University of Oldenburg’s online application applies
- to two-subject Bachelor’s programmes with restricted admission in the 1st and higher semesters
- for single-subject Bachelor’s programmes with restricted admission in higher semesters
Important note!
External applicants must re-register for each procedure.
For students of the University of Oldenburg with Stud.IP access (abcd1234), no new registration is required. Please log in to Stud.IP . Under 'Study details' (top bar) you can access the administration of your student data, under 'Degree programmes' you can apply directly for the degree programme of your choice.
