In the project POINT, a research cooperation between the department VLBA and the SAP consulting company „abat AG“, heterogenous activities are carried out, ranging from joint events like training courses to student work and research activities in the frame of a PhD thesis, including accompanying research.

With the technological improvements and the establishment of in-memory databases and the internet of things, new possibilities in the field of ERP-Technology have opened. Also topics such as user experience, user-centered design, and augmented as well as virtual reality are highly relevant today due to the cross-platform usage of business applications.

During this research cooperation students will work on several innovative topics, such as:
