To meet the topic of ecological economics adequately, the range of courses is developed interdisciplinarily. In the courses, aspects from natural, social, legal and political sciences are discussed together with questions about operative environmental governance and economics.

Working Paper „Wie, wir lesen?”
Together with Nina Gmeiner and Julia Tschersich of the Chair Economy of the Commons and Sebastian Rohe of the Chair Organisation & Innovation, Hendrik Wolter published a Working Paper with the title "Wie, wir lesen?". The paper deals with reading seminars as a building block of exploratory learning in economic sciences.
The Working Paper series is a product of the Working Group Exploratory Learning of the German Association for educational and academic staff development in Higher Education (dghd). The papers are published online at the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg and addresses everyone interested in Exploratory Learning.
The empirical basis is formed by three reading seminars being offered with two semester periods per week between the summer semester 2018 and the summer semester 2019. The paper addresses the following seminars:
