The internationalization of higher education has turned into a innovative dynamic that has been integrated to the classic functions of our faculty, in affinity to a knowledge without frontiers that is being developed in the scenario of globalization. By incorporating the international and intercultural dimension, we try to propose an increase the quality of education, as well as imposing challenges on the structure and management of the university regarding its problems related to research, teaching, service to the community and autonomy. When considering such challenges, the key is to base oneself on sustainable human development, a culture of peace, solidarity and permanent education, all based on a significant transformation of the higher education system, which is a strategic support for development.
