The maximum number of participants is restricted to 15. For practical work the participants will be organized in three groups working on different aspects. The groups will share their experiences and results in joint lab meetings. The group arrangement will be done by the organization committee considering individual scientific experience and interest. The students will work in daily seminars, field trips, and practical exercises together with the scientists of our institute. The results obtained during the summer school will be combined and jointly presented in a final symposium.

During the first week the participants are expected to give short presentations (max. 15 min) about themselves, their research interest and their home institutions

The participants should arrive at ICBM-Terramare in Wilhelmshaven on Saturday afternoon (Aug. 10, 2013), and will spend the first night in the ICBM guest house in Wilhelmshaven. Transfer to Spiekeroog is on Sunday.

We will return to Wilhemshaven on Saturday, Aug 17. The following Sunday is free.

The summer school closes with a synopsis (presentations given by the participants) and a barbecue at ICBM on Friday, Aug. 23, in Oldenburg. The departure is on Saturday, 24, 2013 from Wilhelmshaven.
